What kind of certificate shall I be getting after completing the diploma?
Answer: You shall get a One Year Diploma in Yoga Teachers’ Training Certificate from Rashtriya Yoga Shikshan- Prashikshan Santhan, a vocational training Institute,New Delhi.
Is the course Government recognized
Answer: The course is conducted under the affiliation of the institution Indira Gandhi Institute of Advanced Education, New Delhi. It is valid and recognised all over India.
What shall be the timings of the classes?
Answer: The timings of the classes are devised to suit one and all. Classes shall be conducted twice a week , six hours plus per week..
Is it possible to pay the fees in instalments?
Generally no. However, it could be considered for a genuine case on an individual basis.
What is the minimum educational requirement for this Course?
Answer: The minimum educational qualification required for this course is HSC (10 +2) and minimum age of 18 years as on the date of admission.
I am middle aged and have left exams far behind. Will it be possible for me
to complete this course?
Answer : Definitely Yes. The course has been designed to give ample practice and guidance as regards exam writing and practicals.
I wish to learn Yoga but am not interested in teaching yoga. How shall this
Diploma for teachers’ training help me in this case?
Answer: 1)The systematic and basic knowledge of Yoga helps one to develop his personality by SWOT awareness on physical ,mental, emotional and spiritual level. The inculcated yoga teachings not only help the growth of the individual but also percolate to one’s family, society and finally the nation.
2) If one is interested in further studies in YogaShastra, this Diploma qualifies one for admission directly to the PostGraduate Programme in Yoga Shatra subject to fulfillment of other criteria of the selected University.
If a session is missed , will videos of sessions be shared ?
Answer: Attending all sessions is mandatory. Moreover written notes shall be provided. No video recording of sessions shall be permitted or provided.

What is the Yoga Certification Board ( YCB)?
Answer: The Yoga Certification Board (YCB) India ( under the AYUSH Ministry ) has been set up by the govt. to regulate Yoga as a profession through various Certifications. After completing the YCB certification examination, one gets accreditation as an Yoga teacher.
Are there any courses offered by YCB for their certification?
Answer: The YCB is only an accrediting Authority . They do not have any training centres that prepare individuals for the Certification exams . This gap is filled by private institutions like Ayurvyas.
